Easy Smores Bars (Small Batch)
These gooey, delicious smores bars make a great dessert to try! This recipe uses a loaf pan, so it will be a smaller batch.

- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened (1/2 a stick)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 graham crackers sheets, crushed (about 1/2 cup)
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- dash of salt (about 1/8 tsp)
- 1.5 chocolate bars (can use milk or dark chocolate)
- 3-6 large marshmallows, quartered
Spray a loaf pan with non-stick spray or line with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 350.
Mix butter and sugar. Add egg yolk and vanilla and mix.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, crushed graham cracker, baking powder, and salt. Add to first bowl and mix thoroughly.
Use 3/4 of the dough and press into the bottom of the pan. Add chocolate bar pieces, broken up. Add marshmallow pieces. Add the rest of the graham cracker dough to the top. You can add a few extra pieces of chocolate or marshmallow to the top if desired.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the top starts to turn brown. Remove and let cool. Cut into 6 squares and serve!
