Slow Cooker Carnitas
Tender slow cooked pork with just the right amount of tang and spice!

- 3-4 lb pork shoulder or butt
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 Tbsp ground cumin
- 1 Tbsp ground oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 2 onions chopped into chunks
- 1/3 cup orange juice fresh or bottled
- 1/3 cup lime juice fresh or bottled
- 1-3 Tbsp hot sauce
Cut pork into 2-3 sections and rub oil into pork
Mix seasonings in small bowl and rub into pork on all sides
Place seasoned pork, garlic, onions, orange juice, and lime juice in slow cooker
Cover and cook for 8 hours on low or 4-5 hours on high
Optional: Preheat oven to broil and shred pork. Place on baking sheet and broil for about 3 minutes or until just slightly crisped on the ends
Optional: Drizzle hot sauce on top as desired
