Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal

Delicious fall flavors in a breakfast favorite

Ingredients

  • 1 cup instant oats
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • pecans to top as desired
  • pomegranate seeds OR dried cranberries to top as desired
  • milk to top as desired

Instructions

  • Bring water to boil and add oats and chia seeds. Add pumpkin puree. Cook about 1-2 minutes until water has evaporated to desired consistency. Turn off heat.
  • Add brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix.
  • Plate and add pecans, pomegranate seeds or dried cranberries, and milk if desired
