Bacon Wrapped Dates with Cream Cheese
Soft and sweet dates filled with cream cheese and wrapped with crispy bacon

- 16-18 medjool dates 10 oz box
- 3 oz cream cheese
- 9 strips thin sliced bacon
Preheat oven to 400. Make a lengthwise cut in each date and remove the pit. Add about 1 tsp of cream cheese inside each date.
Cut bacon strips in half. Wrap a piece of bacon around each date and secure with a toothpick if desired. Place wrapped dates on rack over a sheet pan (see note 1). Bake for about 18 minutes or until bacon is crispy. Let cool then enjoy!
- You can also use just a sheet pan if you don't have one with a rack! If you go this route, place the bacon wrapped dates on a plate with a paper towel after baking to absorb the excess oil.
